Even after all these years.....
Henrik is crying. He is looking at the pressed flower he got on his 82nd birthday, the 44th pressed flower he has gotten. All of the flowers he's gotten reminds him of the horrible thing that has happened 40 years ago and is still unsolved to this day.
Mikael Blomkvist is in a café. He is a journalist, determining the effects of being convicted by libel. He also wonders; how did I get into this mess?
Lisbeth Salander works for Milton Security. She is one of the best private investigative reporters in the building. She is telling her client what she found out about who she was investigating; Mikael Blomkvist. (She does not look like the avatar shown)
Mikael is on the phone with Henrik's lawyer; Dirch Frode. Frode is telling Mikael that Henrik Vanger would like to meet him. His home is in Hedestad.
Mikael accepts Henrik's offer to figure out what happened to his granddaughter Harriet and is shown moving his things into the guesthouse that has been provided for him. He is going to live in the home for a whole year while investigating.
Forde suggests a private investigator to MIkael so he can have help with solving the case. So Mikael goes and meets Lisbeth Salander, the recommended private investigator.
