  • Hey John, oh nothing much man. Glad to see you bro.

  • Bro, go online and just copy an essay to turn in.
  • John you need to work on your poetry essay.
  • Scene 3

  • I'll text your mom so she can remind you.
  • John arrives to his high school at 8:30 am to hang with his friend Paul before English class starts. The mood is very relaxed because the two friends are happy to see one another.
  • Scene 4
  • Time to find an online essay to submit.
  • John remembers that his English paper on poetry is due the following day and he hasn’t even started the paper yet. Paul tells him to just copy an essay from online and submit the work as his own. John’s teacher asks him why he hasn’t started on his paper and he simply replies “I’ve been busy with sports.” In reality, John has been slacking on his school work.
  • Scene 5
  • Mom, Paul tried to get me to plagarize a paper online to submit.
  • John has been solely focused on soccer at school and not been doing his homework. This has caused John to forget about the English paper he must write for the following day. His friend Paul suggests plagiarizing the essay so John doesn’t actually have to do the work. John’s teacher sends a text to John’s mom to remind him later tonight to write his paper. His mom is not happy with him.
  • Scene 6
  • John starts to look up essays online that he could use to turn in on his own, but he gets a text from his mother saying that she will help him tonight and to come home after school to complete the essay. John knew that he couldn’t ever cheat and lie to his teacher. Paul has submitted an online essay for himself. John would be very disappointed in Paul.
  • "John come home after school, so we can finish your essay."
  • John explains to his mom the situation with Paul and how he wanted him to cheat on his paper. His mom explains to John that a leader would never cheat and that she is proud of him for not choosing to cheat. John reminds himself that if he was to do it that his coach would find out and he would be off the soccer team.
  • John a leader would never cheat and I am proud of you for not cheating
  • John is laying in bed and finally submits his poetry essay on time. He is proud of himself for pushing through and not allowing himself to cheat. He recognizes now that honesty and commitment will take him a lot farther in life than cheating ever will.
  • I'm so glad that I didn't cheat. I finally got my paper in on time.
