The climax is the turning point. The narrator goes into the old man room for the eight night. This time the old man opened his scary eye and the narrator suffocated him with a mattress and the old man died.
The falling action is when the story start to wrap up. The narrator is starting to feel guilty and is hearing the old mans heart beating. He thinks that the police can here it and they are teasing him.
The resolution is the outcome of the conflict. The narrator confesses that he killed the old man.
