- At first, Queen's guitarist, Brian May and drummer, Rodger Taylor played in a band called Smile.
- I heard you needed a new band member!
- But, Smile's lead singer, Tim Staffell, ended up leaving the band.
- la, la, laaaa!
- Brian May and Rodger Taylor contemplated going back to their original careers.
- My life was going to be better, my why did I never see she step on me
- But then, the hopeless band members were approached by a peppy art student, Freddie Mercury
- At first they were hesitant about letting some random art student join their band, until they heard Freddie sing. His smoothe and wide vocal range instantly impressed them.
- From that day, Freddie was a part of the band and preforming!
