Israa and the Aurora By: Israa Husseini
Can you believe that we are going to northern Canada to see the northern lights or as most people call it an aurora
Some electrical energy has to be flowing in it. We will have to increase electric charge in the bus
The field trip was canceled. The buses electricity isn't working. The conductor must have something wrong with it. It must have the resistance against electricity right now. It must have a resistor stuck in it right now.
Since the field was canceled lets talk about auroras. Who want to explain what an aurora is.
An aurora is an incredible light show caused by collisions between electrically charged particles released from the sun that enter the earth’s atmosphere and collide with gases such as oxygen and nitrogen. The lights are seen around the magnetic poles of the northern and southern hemisphere
Awesome. When the charged particles are blown towards the earth by the solar wind, they are largely deflected by the earth’s magnetic force field. However, the earth’s magnetic force field is weaker at either pole and therefore some particles enter earth’s atmosphere and collide with gas particles.
