Storyboard Text

  • Do the scientists really know? Will it happen today, will it?
  • Look, look;  see for yourself.
  • Aw, you didn't write that!
  • I think the sun is a flower that blooms for just one hour.
  • William!
  • Nothing! It was all a joke. All a joke!
  • But this is the day, the scientists predict...
  • On  Venus,  the inhabitants only see the sun once every seven years.  After that, Venus would often drenched in rain.   In this story, the setting takes place in a school on Venus, with the characters including Margot, William, the other students, and the teacher.
  • Let me out!
  • Oh, it's much better than the sun lamps, isn't it?
  • On Venus, the children often bullied Margot, with William as the ringleader because she was very different from the rest of them. One of  the  differences  is that she is from Earth, not from Venus.  However, the biggest difference that made the kids hate her was that she claims to remember the sun.
  • She's still in the closet where we left her!
  • Margot  and the other students knew that the sun will appear today. However, when the teacher went out to get some sun gear,  the other kids tried to hide the fact that the rumor was true because they didn't want her to see the sun.  Despite trying to make her go away, she refused.
  • Margot.
  • William and the other kids grabbed her and locked her up in the closet  so she wouldn't be able to see the sun. A few moments later, the sun had appeared. The children then frolicked outside for a  couple of hours,   enjoying as much time under the sun as much as possible.
  • After two hours, they suddenly felt raindrops again, so the students had to go back indoors. They knew that it was going to be another seven long years until the sun comes back again. However, they remembered that Margot was still locked up in the closet.
  • Margot!
  • They realized what they had done was wrong, and they   let Margot out of the closet.  However, it was too late for her. Now she had to wait for another seven years to see the sun again.
  • Well...Go on.
