  • Andrew Jackson does not belong on the $20 bill.
  • Serenity Khin
  • I used the Jacksonian Democracy to give voting right to regular white men. I thought it was a good idea because it gave me a chance to win presidency and it expanded my supporters.
  • Jacksonian Democracy wanted to spread power, not just any power, political power. He was mad that he lost to John Quincy Adams the first time. He went against John Q. Adams for a second time. What he did to win was, he gave regular whit men the right to vote. In 1812 he won presidency by expanding voting rights.
  • I had given my supporters government jobs. I feel like it's a bad idea because i had replaced government officials with supporters who know nothing about the government.
  • In Jackson's campaign he used the spoils system. What he did with it was he gave his supporters jobs. Jackson didn't just give them normal jobs he had given them government jobs. By him doing this practice, it seemed that his opponents were getting mad and thought it was unfair. Jackson's intentions were to give new people new opportunities and chances.
  • Jackson made us move west of the Mississippi River. It was a bad idea because whites thinks that they can tell us where to live. We didn't have much of a choice.
  • Jackson planned to move Native Americans west of the Mississippi River. Jackson had a strong belief that the government had the right to tell the Native Americans where they have to live. Since the Native Americans are not white, Jackson thinks they should accept the policy. Later on the Indian Removal Act was passed by congress.
  • Jackson wants a strong federal government and Calhoun wants rights of the state. It's a bad idea to want a strong federal government. It's more about state's rights that we don't have but need.
  • Calhoun made an idea about nullification, but had caused controversy. There were two things to support. A strong federal government and the right of the states. Some had supported the government and the others supported the government and the others supported the rights. Calhoun supported the rights of the states and Jackson supported the government.
  • Jackson wants to start a war because he thinks it's unconstitutional. It's a bad idea because the people nee the bank and he thinks that the war was approved because he as reelected.
  • Jackson wanted war on the bank because he thought it was unconstitutional and took his reelection as a sign to go on with the war. Biddle made it harder for people to borrow money so Jackson to give back the bank. Eventually Jackson won the war.
