  • Interdependence-The interaction and the dependence of organisms on one another. As you can see, the top level relies on the lower level.
  • Digging deeper
  • So knowing that the higher level depends on the lower level, we could break down things. The tertiary section depends on the secondary consumer. The secondary consumer depends on the primary section. The primary section depends on the producers. Lastly, the decomposer section relies on all dead organisms.
  • Examples
  • Some examples of the tertiary section are like lions and polar bears. Some examples of the secondary consumers are like foxes and hawks. Some examples of the primary section are like deers and rabbits. Producers are like trees and grasses. The decomposer section are like worms and fungus.
  • Interdependence
  • Animals don't get their food for free. They have to hunt for their food. This is the interaction in between animals.

  • If my creature dies out then the tertiary section won't have food leading them to die. But, if the tertiary section dies out then my creature population will over populate. Then other sections will over populate.
