  • Hi! Today we will be talking about The Truth Of Advertising.
  • Well then, what are some of the techniques? 
  • Well, one of the techniques is Endorsements. Endorsements means the ad is popular and has favourite celebrities. For example, if there was a company called Sprite, and celebrities were in the ad, some people might buy it because it's their favourite celebrity that is drinking Sprite, so they might think that they should buy it because a celebrity bought it. That is called Endorsements.
  • That's the only one..? Isn't there other techniques?
  • Yes of course, there is. One of the other ones is called Bandwagon. Bandwagon is  something so popular that mostly everyone wants to buy it because of it's popularness.
  • Two isn't enough. Tell us more advertising techniques.
  • Well, I can teach you two more techniques. One of them is Claims. Claims means that the company is making the price of the product cheap and reasonable so that people buy it.
  • Well then, what is the last advertising technique?
  • The last final one is Pathos. Pathos means that people in the advertisement have an emotion like for an example happy. For an example, someone drinking Sprite with a smile on their face.
  • Do you think I can become an advertiser?
  • If you follow all of these techniques in advertising, you will have a higher technique in advertising.
