April 14, 1865 Pres. Lincoln and his wife attend a play in Washington DC.
John Wilkes Booth, a southerner who opposed Lincolns policies, snuck into the theater during the play.
Booth sneaks into the Pres. theater box and shot Lincoln and escaped.
Lincoln is rushed to the boardinghouse.
"MOVE OUT OF THE WAY THE PRESIDENT HAS BEEN SHOT!"
Early the next morning, Lincoln passes away and the news spreads.
President Lincoln has passed away early this morning!
Because of Lincolns death, I, Andrew Jackson, is now your new President.
Andrew Jackson takes Lincolns place as President.
