  • I am general Robert E. Lee, i led the confederate army into Virginia 
  • i am Stonewall Jackson, i am the 2nd best general and i was accidentally shot by my own men.
  • I am General Joseph Hooker, i was a general for the union army. 
  • The Battle of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania July 1–July 3, 1863. it was the largest battle of the American Civil War as well as the largest battle ever fought in North America. The ten roads that led into town are what brought the armies to Gettysburg.
  • James Longstreet's corps had arrived, and his 20,000 men were sent to outflank the Union left But the Federals had failed to place troops upon hills. The Union had around 94,000 soldiers, Confederates around 72,000. Lee attacked and there was fierce fighting throughout the day with both sides taking heavy losses, The Union lines held.
  • Pickett’s Charge was the culmination of the battle of Gettysburg July 3, 1863. Involved an infantry assault of approximately 15,000 Confederate soldiers against Union. The assault would take the nine brigades of Confederate soldiers over three-quarter mile of open ground susceptible to cannon fire the entire time.
  • The two armies suffered between 46,000 and 51,000 casualties,Union casualties were 23,055 3,155 killed, 14,531 wounded, 5,369 captured or missing. Confederate casualties were 28,063. 3,903 dead, 18,735 injured, and 5,425 missing
  •  The Gettysburg address was given by Abraham Lincoln November 9th 1863 at the dedication of the National Cemetery at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania he Gettysburg Address was delivered in the height of the American Civil War to commemorate the massive numbers of deaths and casualties. The speech was made in honor of the Union troops who had fallen on the battlefield.
