Storyboard Text

  • Ok, so I'll be demonstrating Isaac Newton's 3rd law.
  • Newton's 3rd law states that any interaction between two objects has a pair of forces working on them. The pair of forces act equally on the objects.
  • Let's take this wall for example.
  • If I push on this wall, I apply a force to it. The force is called applied force.
  • Notice how the wall isn't moving. Neither am I.
  • That's because there is an opposing force acting on me at the same time. As the forces are equal. They cancel each other out, resulting in no motion.
  • That's how Newton's 3rd Law works.
