Storyboard Text

  • Just running is boring. I think I'll leave on a journey.
  • There was once a horse who was the fastest horse in town, but...
  • I wish that I could fly like the eagle, climb like the squirrel, swim like the fish, or burrow like the mole.
  • And so the horse left home.
  • Ms. Eagle shook her head, and so the horse continued on his journey.
  • Ms. Eagle, how is it that you can fly?
  • I use my wings.
  • Teach me.
  • Mr. Squirrel shook his head and so the horse traveled on
  • Mr. Squirrel, how is it that you can climb?
  • Teach me.
  • I use my paws.
  • The horse came upon a stream
  • Ms. Fish shook her head and so the horse left the stream.
  • Ms. Fish, how is it that you can swim?
  • Teach me.
  • I use my gills and fins.
  • Mr. Mole shook his head and so the horse dejectedly returned home.
  • Mr. Mole, how is it that you can burrow?
  • Teach me.
  • I use my nose and claws.
  • The next day, the horse ran a race, but...
  • Why couldn't I win the race?
  • 2nd Place
  •     If you abandon what you have mastered to chase after what you do not have, nothing is what you are left with in the end.
  • I see.
