  • Describing the bubonic plague
  • The bubonic plague was spread by rats carrying infected fleas to people which then bit them and infected them. Jerry avoids most of the plague by staying far away from any rodent and wears clothes that covers most of his skin.
  • How the bubonic plague contributed to the decline of feudalsim
  • The bubonic plague had many symptoms, some included having black and blue blotches appear on skin, fever, headache, chills, and weakness.
  • How commoners or peasants obtained power
  • The reason this disease was very dangerous is because nobody really knew how to cure it and the doctors that went around door to door made people think that they were cured. Jerry knew this so that as also another reason he never really came in contact with others, especially rodents.
  • Yes of course.
  • It contributed to the decline of feudalism because since so many people perished, social  and economic structures began to collapse. Jerry noticed this and realized that staying away from people and rodents worked.
  • Where is everyone?
  • Commoners like Jerry began to notice that there were more of them than people of higher ranking so they demanded for more, this is how they obtained power.
