LAw of inertia

Storyboard Text

  • Hello, everyone! I am Daisy and today I am going to teach you the Law of Inertia
  • The law of inertia is Newton's first Law of Motion
  • It states that if a body is at rest or moving at a constant speed in a straight line, it will remain at rest or keep moving in a straight line at constant speed unless it is acted upon by a force.
  • For example there is a book on the table. It is at rest. It will not move unless you move it.
  • Inertia is best defined as resistance of an object to change its motion.
  • An object at rest tends to stay at rest. And acceleration is absent in law of inertia
