I was inside super bored so I decided once I was done letting my dog out I would go out into the woods to go hunting.
Crossing the creek
I shot a deer within only 5 minutes of hunting. After I shot the deer I sat there and thought for a second, I dislocated my knee 4 days before and I wouldn't be able to drag very far.
Finding my deer
So I went back to the house and got my brother to help me track it. It was 85 degrees out and the mosquitoes were eating us alive.
Finding my way home
We even had to cross a creek when the water was 3 1/2 feet deep. At this time I wanted to give up, I was soaking wet and I was tired of being bitten by 30 mosquitoes every minute. I was exhausted.
But I kept looking, and eventually we finally found my deer but it was dark already, and we didn't know exactly where we were at. We were lost, and it was so dark I could barely even see my hand in front of my face, my phone was only at 8%.
I had to start dragging my deer out by myself when the only light I had was the stars and 1/4 moon in the sky. Mosquitoes were about to lift us away. I eventually made it back to my house.
