Storyboard Text

  • The narrator has a flashback about a summer where he goes on a date with Sheila Mant and has to decide between capturing a bass or Sheila
  • Is that Sheila Mant?!?! She is the prettiest girl in this whole wide world. I really wan t to go out with her but im afraid to ask her.
  • The narrator sees  Sheila and her brother playing baseball and has the courage  to  ask  her out.
  • Hi Sheila,  I was wondering if you would like to go out with me tomorrow night? We could go to a concert and take my canoe.
  • Sure, I guess.
  • The day of the date, the narrator picks up Sheila. On the way to the fair, he captures the biggest bass of his life but he can't let Sheila know.
  • Oh no!!!! Sheila can not know I just caught the biggest bass of my life if I want this date to go somewhere.
  • I hate fishing. It is as disgusting as a can of tuna.
  • The narrator has to decide between the bass or Sheila.
  • I dont  know what to do but  I have to decide.   Will it be the bass or Sheila?
  • I hope Eric is at the fair.
  • He decides to let the bass go  and cuts the line.
  • I hope  I made the right decision.
  • Thank god we finally arrived
  • I'm leaving with Eric, he's going to take me home. You're a funny kid you know that?
  • After arriving at the fair and dancing, Sheila, tells the narrator that she will return home with Eric  Castwell. In the end, the narrator ends with nothing. 
  • Okay.
