The important event in Gn 8:1-22 was about how God remembered Noah, his family, and all the wild animals were still with him in the ark. Noah was in a boat and the flood hadn’t left and they wanted to get off because the animals were smelling, tired and they didn't have fresh food. First, they sent the raven and it came back, Noah sent it again and it didn't come back because it found land when the water receded. Then they released a dove but It came back. Next, he sent a dove again but that time it did not come back it found land. Finally, when land was dry God told Noah to leave the ship and multiply and reproduce him and all the animals.
"At the end of forty days Noah opened the hatch of the ark that he had made, and he released a raven. It flew back and forth until the waters dried off from the earth"(GN 8:6-7)
"The he released the dove.. he waited yet another seven days and then released the dove; but this timeit did not come back"(GN 8:8-12)
"Then God said to Noah: Go out of the ark, together with your wife and your sons and your sons' wives. Bring out with you.. multiply on it" (GN 8:15-17)
Be patient and do not force things before God's time .
