Odysseus and his men arrived on an unknown island. They were hoping to find food and resources. So they searched the island.
Only instead of food, they found a cave. So, Odysseus and his men entered and were shocked by what they saw.
Odysseus and his men stumbled upon an angry cyclops. The Cyclopes was guarding what appeared to be food and supplies. So, the cyclopes started to eat Odysseus's men.
Odysseus and his remaining men started to make a plan to escape. Once night fell, and the Cyclopes fell asleep, they striked.
They blinded the Cyclopes with a club. The Cyclopes woke up and demanded Odysseus to tell him his name, so Odysseus said his name was nobody.
As they escaped the island, Odysseus told the Cyclopes his real name. Only they did not know that him saying his real name would cause any issues. The Cyclopes ended up being the son of Poseidon the god of the sea.
