- Ocean Acidification reduces the amount of Calcium Carbonate that is in the water. Many Oceanic Organisms use Calcium Carbonate to build their shells and skeletons.
- That is the thing Melissa... They can't. And without the plants and animals that make their shells sand skeletons out of Calcium Carbonate, the animals that eat them won't have enough to eat. Then soon the whole food chain can collapse.
- That is so sad! How can animals such as oysters and sea urchins survive without the Calcium Carbonate?
- But humans can help stop Ocean Acidification. If we can find more ways to use renewable energy and stop polluting the air, we can stop Ocean Acidification
- Why haven't they noticed that the bus is empty? Jasmine must be talking about all of her random facts.
