Storyboard Text

  • *coughs all over me*
  • You've been coughing all over me all day!
  • 3 days later...
  • My body aches and I have a really bad fever. I can't stop coughing.
  • The virus that causes the flu reproduces asexually. When it gets into you, it moves into the respritory tract and connects to the surface cells. It releases the virus into cell's nucleus. It replicates and takes over the functions of the cell.
  • My doctor told me to stay on bed rest, drink plenty of fluids and she gave medications to take.
  • I feel so much better. Why did it take so long to get rid of?
  • It is so hard to medically treat because when it reaches your cell it's hard to get rid of fast, it takes time.
  • What should I watch out for?
  • Watch out for kids that are sick, touching your face, coughing your hands, and not washing you hands with soap. Thanks for coming in!
