  • Mink comes inside to eat and answers her moms questions about the invasion and who she was talking to in the bush.
  • Character vs Character conflict: Mink says she doesn't want to take a bath and soon she won't have to.
  • A martian! I think
  • Who is Drill?
  • Once Mink leaves the mom gets a call from a friend who lives in a different state.
  • Your little one is playing invasion too? And he has a new friend named Drill?
  • Foreshadowing: The mother mentions she played a game like this as a kid called Japs and Nazis and we know those nations were a start of WWII.
  • It's 5'o clock which Mink said was zero hour. At this time, Mink's dad pulls into the driveway.
  • Symbol: Zero Hour is a symbol for something bad happening.
  • A loud buzzing starts to happen and before the parents know, explosions happen outside.
  • Whats that buzzing?
  • Quick, to the attic!
  • Explosions are happening outside!!!
  • As they hide, they hear Mink calling for them.
  • Don't make a sound.
  • Mink bursts in with strange figures behind her.
  • Peekaboo!
