We got up from bed and packed our belongings. Everybody was so pumped to go to The Windy City. My dad did not come. But he helped us load the car.
Day 2: City Time
We met our friends at Casey's in North Liberty. They were the Knock's. Kade, Grace, and Jenny came. Larry did not come either.
Day 2: After tilting
We drove a long ways and finally got there. The city was beautiful. I've been here before, but I know this time will be an awesome experience. We got to our hotel and unloaded our things and later, we went to the Lincoln Park zoo and saw cool animals. After that, we walked to see a light show then go to a really good restaurant. Finally we got an uber to drive us back to the hotel.
We got up in the morning and headed to go to the actual city. First we took a train to the city. Next, we walked to the Shedd Aquarium. That was cool. I saw animals I've never seen before. Next, we took an Uber past Soldier Field where the Bears play. Then we were interested in going in the John Hancock building. Also, we were thinking about going on the "Tilt." As a group, we stared at the 1,500 feet giant with 100 floors. It was an amazing sight. It was a long wait and we finally headed up in the elevator and my ears popped for the first time. It only took 45 seconds to get up the 100 floors. We waited to get to the tilt. It's where you hang on to railings and look through glass on the to the ground and see the people and the streets. It was awesome.
After tilting, we walked around town to look for a restaurant. During the walk, we saw a fancy car dealership. Then we saw 2 Lamborghinis. They were awesome. We were looking for the restaurant "Giordano's." As minutes passed, there it was. We walked toward it and it was PACKED. Finally a booth was open for us and we were starving. When we ordered and got our pizza, it was the best pizza I have ever had. After that, we walked around the city and was heading toward "Dylan's Candy Bar." That was filled with candy and that was good. Then we got an Uber to our hotel and that was the day.
The next day, we got up and ate at the hotel. After that, we packed up and loaded it in the car. And then we were on our way home. It seemed like a whole day when we got home. The Knock's dropped us at Casey's in North Liberty and my dad brought us home. And that was the end of our trip to Chicago.
