Storyboard Text

  • You know your own degrees; sit down. At first And last, the hearty welcome.
  • Pronounce it for me, sir, to all our friends, For my heart speaks they are welcome.
  • Ourself will mingle with society And play the humble host. Our hostess keeps her state but in best time. We will require her welcome.
  • Most royal sir, Fleance is ’scaped.
  • 'Tis Banquo's then
  • Thou art the best o' th' cutthroats: Yet he’s good that did the like for Fleance. If thou didst it, thou art the nonpareil.
  • There's blood upon thy face.
  • (Banquet prepared. Enter MACBETH, LADY MACBETH, ROSS, LENNOX, LORDS, and attendants.)
  • Here had we now our country’s honour roofed, Were the graced person of our Banquo present, Who may I rather challenge for unkindness Than pity for mischance.
  • Macbeth and lady Macbeth welcome all of the lords.
  • The table's full.
  • Where?
  • (Enter FIRST MURDERER at the door.) (Macbeth aside to FIRST MURDERER) Shot of just Macbeth and the FIRST MURDERER in the corner.
  • Here is a place reserved, sir.
  • What, my good lord?
  • Here, my good lord. What is ’t that moves your highness?
  • (Enter the GHOST OF BANQUO, and sits in MACBETH’s place)
  • Macbeth sees Banquo and starts to have a bit of a freakout.
  • His absence, sir, Lays blame upon his promise. Please ’t your highness To grace us with your royal company?
  • Which of you have done this?
  • Macbeth continues on his freak out about the ghost of banquo.
