  • The people had started to forget about God and went to church not meaning it.  Two men, Jonathan Edwards and George Whitefield, played big parts in the Great Awakening.
  • These people need to be awakened!
  • Who needs God?  We are doing fine.
  • Jonathan Edwards and George Whitefield converted many people back to christianity.
  • God helps those who trust him.
  • We need God!  How could we live without him!
  • The French captured fort Duquesne, which started the French and Indian war.  Colonel Washington was sent to prevent them from doing this, but was too late. In a night raid, the first shots were fired.
  • In 1759, British General Wolfe sent 5,000 men to attack the french by surprise in Quebec.  The French surrendered when they saw the British attacking.
  • Surrender or else we will shoot!
  • We Surrender!
  • The stamp act required Americans to buy stamps for documents, because England was poor from the war.
  • Why do I have to buy stamps?
  • England needs money!
  • The quartering act made colonists let British soldiers stay in their houses or barns.  The British soldiers were criminals sometimes.
  • Let's wreck everything!!!
