Scientific Method Comic Strip
This storyboard does not have a description.
Meet John. He has just moved to Arizona, and he loves it so far, but the relentless heat causes a slight PROBLEM.
I love my new home, but it has no shade. Which tree grows fastest and largest?
The next day, John goes to his new job and RESEARCHES the best tree to create shade.
I've narrowed it down to the African Summac, the Desert Willow, and the Willow Acacia.
Before he tests which tree is best, he forms his HYPOTHESIS.
I think that the Desert Willow will be the best for shade because it grows quickly, has a lot of coverage, and is well adapted for desert conditions.
John buys a sapling of each tree and designs an Experiment to test the growth of the trees.
I am going to give them all the same amount of water, sunlight, and soil for 1 month and see the results.
1 month later, he measured his trees and analyzed his RESULTS.

With the Willow Acacia growing the most, he came to the CONCLUSION that he would like that best and planted it in his yard.
Thanks to my experiment, I found the right tree for my yard. Now, I like my yard as much as my home!
