Around the 19th Century a man named Henry Ford came to the rescue when he heard the town crying for help, There had seem to be a problem but who else could save the town other than Friendly Henry.
Young boys at the age of 10 to 12 had started working up to 50 or 60 cents a day, This was outrageous because these children were not able to get their education or have a childhood. Friendly Henry did not like the sound of this
After passing by the adults working station Friendly Henry sees workers not being safe, working with machines that are dangerous, worn out and tired and all of this does not seem right to Friendly Henry. This needs to be put to a stop thought Friendly Henry, This is too much and its affecting all workers by slowing them down, having to use unsafe machines and not being paid a fair amount
Friendly Henry decided there needed to be a big change in the work place and in the community so he decided to use his powers and change things up
Friendly Henry decided it would be best to reduce the workday to eight hours a day and paid workers five dollars a day from now on, This had attracted thousands of unemployed men and only let children from the age above 13 work
Not all workers could get all the work done on time or at the same rate which led to the workers falling behind, because of Friendly Henry the assembly line was built and because he reduced hours and increased the pay workers were officially happy which make Friendly Henry happy. America is different today because all workers start working at minimum wage and are allowed to start at certain ages, In today's society most jobs have insurance that cover injuries at work and workers do not put their life at risk when working on dangerous machines, America is different today and has changed in many ways that have improved throughout the years.
