Rome was at its peak. Its empire had extended for 2.2 square miles.
Rome (120 AD)
During that time Rome had a lot of civilizations under their rule
And that brought lots of different religions.
However due to the larger and larger amount of area concurred meant that there were not enough soldiers to defend attacks from the outside barbarians.
The empire decided that it would be too hard to rule so the empire chose to spit the nation into two
The western and eastern empires
However, the western empire didn't survive for long due to; Government corruption, overexpansion, and barbarian attacks
So the western side finally fell. Leaving space that would be later fought for by the barbarians
The eatern side, however, survived for a lot longer.
And in 476 C.E it finally fell
