  • To help war efforts of American allies, the factories had been working day and night already to help war efforts.
  • And that was before the bombing.
  • After that, all Japanese immigrants living in California were soon forced out of their homes and into camps.
  • The U.S. claimed that these Japanese people were a threat to national security.
  • It was a matter of time before the U.S. joined the war.
  • D-Day was significant to the history of the allies because of the sheer size of it. It was the largest battle by sea in history.
  • The decision to drop the most powerful bomb in history wasn't helped by the fact that the country we were dropping it on had bombed us first
  • Japan had bombed us in Pearl Harbor, which had kicked off the U.S.'s involvement in WW2.
  • The U.S. and the USSR also fought in Vietnam, which is considered the "battleground" of the Cold War.
  • The cold war was fought on many fronts, but the "Space Race" was the most well known.
