Storyboard Text

  • Ready for another super dull meeting??
  • Good morning Belle, sounds like you'd rather be somewhere else this morning
  • I just mean...she never has anything interesting to say anyway.
  • Perhaps this one will be different?  She did say that she had some exciting news.
  • Ugh being here is SUCH a waste of my time and I'm so hungry!
  • Well, Belle, since we happen to be in an icecream shop, perhaps we could grab a snack?
  • Oh, ... I guess you are right...
  • And then by the time the boss arrives, we will be ready to learn from her!
  • In this story board, Belle is trying to drag her co worker into a negative, belittling conversation. In the first set, the coworker goes along with Belle, participating in damaging talk about her boss, and agreeing to partake in giving the 'silent treatment'. In the second set, the co worker refuses to be drawn into negative conversation with Belle, rather, she makes a statement allowing Belle to elaborate on her attitude. The co worker also tries to defend the boss without coming across as rude to Belle. She also offers a very convienient solution to Belle's hunger problem.
