  • The French Revolution was when in 1789-1799, people of France began to make drastic changes in the government from a lack of money and food.
  • Tennis Court Oath
  • The third estate were greatly troubled with, the shortage of bread, unfair taxes and military time, and enlightenment ideas.
  • Storming of the Bastille
  • This meeting was one that had representatives from all the social classes, which had not occurred for a very long time.
  • The Great Fear
  • After being locked out of their meeting room, the third estate representatives moved to a nearby tennis court swearing to make a new constitution.
  • When a rioting party ran out of gunpowder, they then raided a nearby prison. Later, they marched around with the guards' heads on stakes.
  • When fear swept the entire country of France, leading many peasants to become thieves.
