  • Exposition
  • Looks like a meteor!
  • What was that?
  • Conflict
  • Who is it?
  • Put that kid to bed, he has been reading too many comic books.
  • There are aliens here, and one of them are among us.
  • It's not true!
  • Rising Action
  • I knew it was you!
  •                                                       I should have known it was you.
  • I am not an alien, I don't know why it turned on.
  • On a quiet evening on Maple Street, everyone is enjoying the afternoon. The kids are getting ice cream, the parents are talking, people are washing their cars and taking care of their houses. Their having a good time, until a strange light goes by right across them.  Not knowing what it is, they begin to worry.
  • Climax
  • After the meteor flies past, the electricity goes out and a young boy named Tommy shares his story, by telling the people that one of them are the aliens and that the thing that flew past is the spaceship.
  • Falling Action
  • After Tommy tells his story, Les Goodman's car turns on by itself, everyone turns on him and thinks he is the alien. Les Goodman denies it, but no one believes him.
  • Resolution
  • It has turned night time, and by this point no one knows who the alien is. Their is a dark figure walking down the street, and not knowing what it is Charlie shoots it with a shotgun. After he shot the figure, they found out that Charlie shot Pete Van Horn, one of their friends. The whole town thinks that Charlie is now the monster.
  • You killed Pete!
  • He is the one!
  • Everyone at this point is blaming someone different and starting riots and the whole street is going crazy.
  • Its Les!
  • No, its Charlie!
  • Its Tommy!
  • The people are so crazy they have taken it to another level by throwing rocks at people's houses, and throwing them at other people.
