  • Odysseus tried to make an offering to me, but I was still angered by his previous actions at Troy. I put Odysseus into a deep slumber to see how his men would react.

  • I watched the foolish men devour the sacred cows, and after all of that they thought they could be forgiven.   I ignored their petty offering. "Foolish Pigs"
  • Helios approached me to demand that the men must be punished.  He bargained that he would  do way worse to the men if I did not act soon.
  • I said, "There will be retribution, but I don't like the way you approached me."  Helios replied, "Can you please restore by cattle?"  To that I responded, "The cattle shall not be replenished because you did not respect me."
  • I still had sympathy for Odysseus because he has obeyed the rules.  Though, I have no sympathy for his vulgar men.  Despite that I gave Odysseus a warning by making the cow hides and bones dance around.
  • At last the men gave no heedance to my warning.  I summoned a lightning bolt to splinter their ship.  I only spared Odysseus from my wrath because he showed unwavering faith to the gods.
