This is magma in the volcano. Magma exists in the lower part of the crust and the upper part of the mantle. When magma cools it creates an intrusive or extrusive igneous rock.
When magma cooled it created me, a granite rock. I am also known as an intrusive igneous rock.
Tectonic plates rub up against each other, which causes heat and pressure. All of this heat and pressure causes foliation. This then creates a metamorphic rock.
During that process I metamorphosed into a gneiss rock.
