Fausto walked into the kitchen to ask his mom if he could have a guitar. His mom said that they didn't have enough money, since the only one working was fausto's dad. So, it made Fausto sad, but he knew that they couldn't do anything.
Fausto was eating a orange and a dog came up to him. He gave the dog an orange and while throwing orange peels in the sky for the dog to catch he found a tag. Fausto came up with a plan to try and get a reward for giving back the dog, Roger, to his owner and lying about where he was.
Fausto went to Roger's house and a man opened the door. Fausto then told the man that he found his dog by the freeway, when he knew he was in a neighborhood. A lady also greeted Fausto and her husband told her the story that Fausto told him.
Since Fausto lied about finding Roger by the freeway, he got an reward. He got $20 and after felt guilt. But he was also happy a bit since he got $20 to pay for a guitar.
Instead of getting a guitar, Fausto went to church with his good pants, to redeem himself from his guilt. Fausto donated his money to the church. After giving his money away Fausto felt better and happy, but a tiny bit sad, since he didn't get a guitar.
Fausto asked his mom if he could get a guitar and she said that Fausto's grandpa left his guitar in the basement, so Fausto tried to find it. Fausto's grandpa went over to his house to teach Fausto how to play the guitar. This made Fausto really happy and thankful.
