  • Red River Valley Settlement, March 1869
  • Hi I'm here to survey the lands for the Canadian government... Yep looks good, they'll want this
  • I've been living here since i born! You can't do that! I guess I'll just have to get some Metis dudes on my side and start a resistance.
  • So he did exactly that. He gained support from many people living in the Red River Settlement which got him voted into the position of sectary for the Metis National Committee. He then started dedicating his life to protecting the Metis peoples and our heritage.
  • No way bro!!!
  • I WILL PROTECT US AND OUR CULTURE! HAVE NO FEAR FRIENDS!!!
  • Weeo, ya!! Wait who is this guy? Riel? Gooo Riel ya!! love ya man!!!!!
  • After explaining Riel's story for hours....
  • I agree son. That was just his story though. I haven't even got to the good part yet; the legacy he left behind.
  • This is so cool!! I love learning about Riel. He sounds like such a cool dude!!
