  • Joan was a peasant and was a daughter of the Northern French Peasants. Joan frequently prayed for God and she lived a normal childhood. At age 13 she reported to hear saints speaking to her and syaing to throne Dauphne and drive out the English.

  • Early Life
  • When Joan had joined the army the first task was to free the city of New Orleans and she was able to join the army by dressing up as a male. The French Army was strong but did not have as much men as the English which gave them a disadvantage. Later in the war French chipped land back.

  • The Battle of Orleans was victory for French earning their city back. During the Battle it was told that when Joan joined the French Army it said they had overwhelmed the English and they retreated. After the victory, the citizens who lived there rushed to Orleans and cheered for Joan.

  • Later then Joan was captured by the Burgundians. How she was captured was the Mayor saw ahead an English Army approaching and closed the Draw bridge accidentally locking Joan outside. When they captured her she was thrown in prison and then later bought by the English

  • Later then she was put on trial by the English. It was said that they charged her for Heresy and Witchcraft for saying to be told by saints along with 70 accusations from the Pope. She giving references to God and was later said to be burned at stake.

  • GOD IS ON MY SIDE
  • When Joan was being burned at stake it was said thousands of people were watching. Later then it was believed that Joan became a saint and they retried her trial finding her innocent. Charles the 7th stayed king for 40 years thanks to Joan diving the English out.
