Enrollment and dropouts in india: Right now India is having struggles keeping students enrolled in second primary school(lower elementary- middle school). But primary school has been having luck with enrollment with a 95 percent increase of primary student enrolling and 56 percent of it being consisted of girls. But in secondary school 29 percent drop out before finishing 5 years of secondary school and 43 percent dropping out before completing upper school
Students, teachers and environment:There is a small amount of 689,000 teachers in primary school throughout the whole country of india. The environment is less than ideal in schools with only 53 percent of female toilets working and 74 percent have access to drinking water.

Education : The quality of learning is a major issue and reports show that students are not learning as much as they are supposed to. About 73 percent of Standard III and 50 percent of Standard V can not yet read Standard II texts.on 26 percent of students in Standard V can do a division problem.
