Storyboard Text

  • After Danae and baby Perseus landed on the island Serifos. A young fisherman named Dictys' found them and took them in.
  •  One day, Dictys' brother king Polydectes fell in love with Danae. He wanted to marry her. Perseus didn't want that to happen.
  • The king decided to make a plan. The king had a feast only for people who had no gifts couldn't come in. Perseus arrived but wasn't allowed in. The king gave him a quest to bring the head of Medusa.
  • Bring me the head of Medusa!
  • Perseus was on his quest when he was visited by goddess Athena. She gave him a highly powerful shield. Athena gave him the directions to find his way through the graeae to Medusa.
  • When Perseus got to the underworld he was face to face with the evil Medusa. Perseus took his sword and cut her head off. With that, Perseus was on his way back home with the head of Medusa.
  • When Perseus finally reached the court he granted the head of Medusa to king Polydectes. He stoned the king and his men, making the kind fisherman, King Dictys. In return, he gave Athena the head of Medusa to make her the most powerful goddess.
