Storyboard Text

  • Feeling Sadness
  • But the dog was not running or asleep. The dog was dead. There was a garden fork sticking out of the dog.
  • Feeling Fear
  • Then I walked down the bottom of the garden. At the bottom of the garden is a shed.
  • Feeling Joy
  • And the dog sat in my lap and I stroked it.
  • “He’s two months old. And he’s a golden retriever.”
  • This moment is important because it not only lets us get the first glimpse into Chris's mind and the way he thinks, but starts of the entire chain of events of the story.
  • This moment after Chris had found out his Father killed Wellington. He was scared and afraid, and this was the start of his journey to not only meet his Mother, but overcome many great obstacles and challenges for someone like him.
  • This moment is the ending of Chris's story. His father has given him Sandy, in an attempt to make things up between them after all he did, and in turn mended the rift that was created between them.
