Storyboard Text

  • Hello kids, I am Matt and as a part of my prison sentence I must work 12 hours of community service. Today we are going to talk about Cellular Respiration
  • So what is Cellular Respiration?
  • Well, the chemical equation is  C6H12O6 + 6O2 --> 6H2O + 6CO2 + ATP. Basically, it is when Glucose (Sugar) + Oxygen = Carbon Dioxide + Water + Energy (ATP)
  • So sugar and oxygen you take in, turns into energy. That makes sense!
  • Where does this happen?
  • This all happens in the might of condria.
  • Don't correct me
  • You mean the mitochondria?
