Storyboard Text

  • Hmm... We need some ideas and plans for the Constitutional Document.
  • Hmm... I suppose... We will discuss these "ideas" and "plans later here today at noon.
  • Ahh... I have been expecting your arival... to keep this private, we shall discuss in private inside.
  • Great Idea Hamilton, Let's go inside then!
  • While walking into the next room...
  • My first proposal is we should give the federal government the most power, and the states the rest.
  • No... Power should be limited, and given mostly to the states and people!
  • But Hancock... The Constitution fairly gives people enough power. but not enough to the government....
  • Ugh... Hancock, Your "Bill of Rights" plan, will only lead to the destruction of the Country.
  • And you do not think a strong central government will Destory and Control everything!!?
  • The constitution gives enough power... But does not protect the people's individual rights... I suppose we create a bill of rights to specially protect them...
  • Anyways... My perspective of the bill of rights is that it gives too much power to the people. it overides the one who's ruling over them.
  • But to have a central government, we need a government with much power as possible. Only then can we suceed.
  • But Hamilton, we can have that. but with checks and balances, separation of power, Senate, etc. the government will be "Strong" but controlled by representatives and the people...
  • Well my perspective of it, is that it just protects them in case of corruption or behaviors we had with the british...
  • So hancock... we came with ideas with a new constitution.... Giving the government it's power and the people their "protection"
  • If you say so... Best believe that that "Bill of Rights" will have exclusions...
  • Ahh yes, although in my view. it'll actually be limited with seperations of power. and the people their protection AND rights.
