Storyboard Text

  • I just want to thank each and every one of you who take some time out of your busy schedule to attend this important meeting. As the mayor of D-town, I am well aware of Neily-Ville's lack in culture.
  • But, we already have churches.
  • Architecture
  • Sculpture...
  • We can build a cultural center. It would increase the awareness of our culture that was influenced by Humanism "the belief that man has beauty, worth, and dignity." It would also allow individuals to focus on themselves and the world around them.
  • Art...
  • The power of the churches shrinks when they decided to have an internal war.
  • painting...
  • What about the churches?
  • Fashion
  • As the days went by in D-Town, more citizens start to engage in the idea of a cultural center. Architects built an art center that is structured like that of ancient Greece and Rome. The center starts to change individual independence and interests. People start to enjoy the moment in which they live. Individuals also start to cherish man and nature as an individual creation of God. The art center brought out the creativity of the people as their paintings, drawings, and sculptures focus on the human beauty like that of Greece and Rome. Altogether, they drift from religious beliefs to the study of humanity.
  • Mr. Black, with an art center, you can develop new and a more realistic style of painting.
  • I was always inspired by the Italian Renaissance artists, especially Massacio. It amazed me how they portray the world around them realistically using perspective.
  • A Cultural center would benefit me as a painter? Can I now paint in depth and with perspective? An art center is not as bad as it seems.
  • The art center influence scholars, artists, and writers to center their work on earthly experiences than the afterlife.
  • Welcome to D-Town's art center, where painters and sculptors focus on the human individual than religious mysticism; where the cultures of ancient Greece and Rome are imitated.
  • Not only in D-Town but throughout Neily-Ville, cities, and towns start to build cultural centers that depict the artistic styles like that of the Renaissance.
