Romulus and Remus's father left them at Tiber River. He did this, because he was afraid his sons would overthrow him and claim the throne.
A wolf found Romulus and Remus, and protected the two from the wildlife. Then some shepherds wandered upon the twins, and one shepherd took them home.
One day, many years later, Remus was captured by the King. There, he found out his, and his brother's identity. The king was killed, and the brothers both became king.
The brothers like the same general area, but argued over which hill to start their kingdom on. They looked for signs from the gods when, Remus saw 6 vultures first, but Romulus saw 12.Both said they won.
Remus being jealous, jumped over one of Romulus's fences to show how easy it was to get over them. So, taking action, Romulus killed Remus.
Soon after, Romulus founded Rome, naming it after him.
