  • The French and Indian war began over who owned the Ohio River between France/Indian and Britain.
  • Boston Massacre
  • In Proclamation of 1763 is when the king forbid the colonists from moving West of the Proclamation Line. 
  • Boston Tea Party
  • After the French and Indian War, Charles Townshend made a plan to put taxes on paper, lead, glass, paint, and tea. That's what the Townshend act was. 
  • Quartering Act
  • Colonists: I don't get how you guys have to be in my house. Solider: Well we do 
  • The Boston Massacre was a riot that turned terribly wrong. It started off being okay then it turned deadly. The massacre was British against Colonists.
  • The Boston Tea Party were colonists dressed up as Native Americans, and they boycotted the Tea. They revolved this issue with the well-known saying "No Taxation without Representation." Meaning they shouldn't get taxed without their say.

  • The Intolerable Acts were a result of the Boston Tea Party. These acts were meant to punish the colonists for taking part in the Boston Tea Party. In these acts, colonists had to give up their home in need of a solider. They gave food, shelter, and anything the solider needed.
