In the story "The Third Wish", Mr. Peters is brave based on the story. He is willing to help someone even though he doesn't know what it is or where's it coming from. Mr. Peters is helpful because he was trying to save the swan that stuck on a bush with thorns in the beginning of the story. On page 73 and 74, he wanted his wife that he wished for, to be happy. She depressed about leaving her sister and missing the forest. So he wished for her to be a swan again. On page 74, it states " Shall I use my second wish to turn you back into a swan."
In the story, Letia was not outgoing. She was very quiet and shy on pages 73 - 75. On page 74, Leita is a caring person because she still cares for Mr. Peters, it states "Who will take care of you." "I'd do it myself as I did before I married you." in the passage. She is also very emotional because she miss her sister and the forest. She wanted to be free with her sister.
The King Of The Forest in the passage was determined. The king of the forest predicted that Mr. Peters will use up the two wishes and use the last wish to undo the last other two. He was also pretty selfish to Mr. Peters because on page 73 it states, "Three wishes, he wants, the clever man! Well, I have yet to hear of the human being who made any good use of his three wishes, they mostly end up worse off than they started. Take air, don't blame me if you spend your last wish in undoing the work of the other two." He's acting like he knows about Mr. Peters' actions or what he is about to do with the three wishes.
