Storyboard Text

  • When prince Siddhartha was born his father knew that he had three separate fates. The fates were becoming a military leader, a spiritual leader, or a kingdom ruler. His father wanted for his son to become the next king so he decided to keep him in the castle.
  • One day one of Siddhartha friends invites him over to meet his family. While on the way there Siddhartha saw a old man, a sick man, and a dead person. These sights ruined Siddhartha innocence to the perfect world and from that day forward he was never really happy.
  • One day when Siddhartha when he was older he left the palace and his family to seek true meaning and happiness. He decided to become happy by becoming a monk.
  • After around 6 years he decide that becoming a monk still did not make him happy or giving any meaning. When he wanted to leave his monk friends did not like that and were mad at him for leaving .
  • After that he sat underneath a tree waiting to find meaning. He sat there day after day, Till he finds enlightenment and at first he doesn't know what to do with the information and doesn't know how to explain.
  • Brahma asked Siddhartha to share this information and he did. His first followers were his friends that were monks. It became a popular religion next to Hinduism and it spread far out of India when the silk roads were created and spread east and west
