  • Finally, my perfect amalgamation is complete. After spending years planning and crafting.
  • Anything made from metal, will have come to life by just my word!
  • The best part is that the best of my works can even talk and feel like real men and animals. I really outdid myself this time.
  • Think about it, they could work wonders! They could help townsfolk, be used as slaves without hurting anyone, and they could even live lives of their own! 
  • Well, enough of my rambling, lets get this lovely hoplite up and running.
  • Good evening sir, how may I be of your assistance?
  • Excuse me? "It"? Is that what you referred me to? Well, I'll just take my leave if I am to be treated like some useless piece of machinery!
  • No wait please stay!
  • Ahah! Its alive! Yes!
  • Gah, who am I kiddin'? I'll just make another one.
  • This myth is about the greek god of fire and crafting, Hephaestus. Hephaestus created being called "automatons". They were mechanical creatures with living attributes. The automatons were designed as humans or animals. The higher class ones that were crafted even had feelings.
  • These cultures had myths because they were their foundations. The myths were meant to be their certain regions historical meaning. This could range from the Greeks having gods, to the Romans having different gods. It was part of religion so to speak. These myths held all the origins of their culture and nature to their culture.
