  • You have selected the bird exhibit! Please go to room 2!
  • 8. Scanning Content
  • I have just scanned the code for this exhibit and have been given a more information on one of my favourite animals! I've learned a lot!
  • Aurelia aurita is a widely studied species of the genus Aurelia All species in the genus are closely related, and it is difficult to identify Aurelia medusae without genetic sampling; most of what follows applies equally to all species of the genus. The most common method used to identify the species consists of selecting a jellyfish from a harbour using a device, usually a drinking glass and then photographing the subject.
  • Moon Jellyfish
  • 9. A more engaging learning experience
  • I have had a great time using the Evolution application. It has helped me learn about the theory of evolution in an intuitive and interactive way!
  • The application could be expanded to act as a guide for other museum layouts.
  • The tree structure is easy and logical to navigate. At any time the user can zoom out on the app and view the whole tree and jump between branches if they want.
  • An example of the further information available from scanning the manual interaction codes.
  • Overall the application aims to provide a more familiar and engaging learning experience whilst keeping logical structure. The core concepts of the application can be expanded and applied to many other types of learning experience, for example a space museum.
