Hey there! My name is Remy, I'm here to talk about the Bubonic Plague, and to teach you all about it, to my right you can see a diseased rat, that's my good friend bob.
Once a rat gets the disease, it is easily spread by the rat, and could kill within 3 days of someone being infected.
It is not Bob's fault that he has the disease. A flea that landed on him gave him the Bubonic Plague because the flea that landed on him had it.
The Bubonic Plague started in China in 1347, the fleas were the first to contract the disease, then they passed it on to rats. The rats passed the disease on to humans and other animals. In total, 50 million people were killed from the Bubonic Plague.
This human now has the disease, the Bubonic Plague is very contagious, it can spread through many people in a very short amount of time because it is an air born disease, which means that it travels through the air.
